Razer blade stealth-design
The Razer blade stealth is a spin-off versions of the company core gaming laptop lineup. But Razer has significantly slimmed down form factor – we are talking a thickness of 0.52 inches and weighs only 1.25 kg.
Not surprisingly, the notebook felt incredibly light in his hand and looked chic and elegant on the table.
The Razer blade stealth ships with a 12.5-inch touchscreen IGZO. It comes in two variants of the core – you have a QHD Panel while the others an even higher resolution 4 K / UHD-Panel has.
I took a look at the 4K-Version, and the display was excellently sharp. Colors were bright and lively, and detail was excellent.
A quick blade stealth performance
Razer play, to with the Windows operating system – 10, of course – the Intel Core i7-6500U dual-core processor (clocked up to 2.5 GHz) I found a sparkling performance offer. In addition, there are 8 GB dual-channel LPDDR3 – 1866 MHz RAM to boot.
Of course not I could try out Razer latest gaming fare without actually playing a game, so I tried the sword of stealth with Star Wars: Battlefront.
I cranked all graphics settings to ultra – the maximum available – at a QHD resolution and the frame rate was OK. There was no stuttering at all, even in the free environment.
At this point, you can wonder why I didn’t mention that an integrated dedicated GPU. After all, is this a must-have on every respectable gaming laptop, right? Not here.
Razer blade stealth – the core
Because Razer has an alternative – the core of Razer.
The core of the Razer is a dedicated graphics housing, which gets on badly with the laptop and is home to a desktop-class graphics card of your choice – as long as it is NVIDIA or AMD.
Instead of the sword of stealth game graphics simply switch on hooks the notebook to the core with a thunderbolt connection.
Insert the blade of stealth in the core was through a single connection, offers an excellent thing: the core has a number of ports on the back, which means that you must plug not your laptop pages with cable.
The sword of stealth and Razer core chroma are enabled. This is Razer abbreviation for integrated lighting tech with 16.8 million colors. It is also worth noting that the blade stealth features the world individually the first keyboard with backlight.
Of course makes this synchronized the sword of stealth and Razer core glow on pairing look fearsome enough any surface.
I have no way to test, the laptop batteries – wait for the full contribution – but Razer says me that it offer a minimum of six hours although better longevity is targeted.
